As you can see in the pictures, the finnage on these fish grows to amazing
proportions. I have been breeding guppies and other tropical fish for over 40
years. All of my auctions contain fish that I have bred and raised in Western
Pennsylvania tap water. Don’t settle for imported fish that die shortly after
they are released into your aquarium.

In the rare case that
one or more of the fish have arrived dead, please take a picture or two of
the dead fish in the unopened shipping bag. Once we receive the pictures and verify the loss, we
will provide a refund or reship replacements. If you choose to have
replacements shipped, we do not provide any refund if the replacements
arrive dead. Please note that if we sent extra fish with your order, we do
not provide any refund on the extra fish. (ie, your order was for 3 fish and
we sent 5, and 2 fish arrived dead, there would be no refund)
Shipping
We ship all of our fish by USPS Priority or Priority Express Mail. The fish
are packed in plastic bags with an anti-fungal which also helps reduce the
stress during shipment and Prime, which is added to keep the amount of
ammonia buildup low. When shipped by USPS Priority Mail, the estimated time
in transit to you is 2-4 days. When shipped Priority Express Mail, the
estimated time in transit to you is 1-2 days. We include enough oxygen in
the bags to last 7 days in transit.
Usually around the middle of October, we add heat packs so that the inside
of the box stays warm enough not to stress the fish. I have been asked over
and over again if the fish will arrive alive. Remember, most of the fish
that you purchase from a pet store were imported from other countries and
spent 2 to 4 days in transit to the trans-shipper who then acclimates the
fish and resells them to the pet shops. When you purchase fish from us, you
are purchasing quality fish that are raised by us here in the USA and
shipped directly to you, no middle man involved. The fish are much less
stressed than most of the fish that you would purchase at a pet shop plus
they are better quality. In addition, we also guarantee live arrival.
Shipping charges are based on the distance from our location (Mt Pleasant,
PA 15666) to your location. Customers on the East Coast therefore pay less
for shipping than customers on the West Coast. We use actual rates straight
from the USPS and UPS.
From 1 January to 1 March, we add extra heat packs and double box our fish
so there is a slight increase in shipping costs based on weight and the
number of heat packs required.
