HULL AQUATICS BRINE SHRIMP HATCHING EGGS (CYST) 100 grams
These are the same brine shrimp eggs that we hatch on a daily basis in our own hatchery. This brand is manufactured in Asia and is the same brand that most Award Winning Asian Fish Breeders use. We have recently switched to this brand based on the fact that baby brine shrimp and eggshell separation is beyond belief. In addition, we get a 90% hatch rate on this brand. Nothing beats the nutritional value of newly hatched brine shrimp when raising fry or small fish such as guppies or killifish. Each 100-gram container is stored at controlled temperatures below 40 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure you receive a fresh container every time.
Hatching Instructions: To hatch your brine shrimp eggs, we recommend mixing 1 cup of sea salt or non-iodized table salt with 1 gallon of water. A clean, rinsed 1-gallon milk container is great for mixing the salt water and storing it for future use. Once your salt water is prepared, add it to a container with an air supply to keep the eggs in motion. We do not recommend using an airstone as the tiny bubbles will cause your brine shrimp eggs to collect above the water level. Instead, simply use an air hose with no air stone. Last, add a small amount of brine shrimp eggs to the water. The amount of eggs will vary depending on how many fish you need to feed. The baby brine shrimp will hatch in 24-36 hours depending on the temperature of the water. The higher the temperature, the faster the hatch. We keep our hatching containers at 80 degrees Fahrenheit which causes most of the eggs to hatch in 24 hours.
